Gratitude Jar values your personal information and complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act. The app is designed with on-device technology as its top priority to ensure that your valuable records are never leaked externally.
The app processes personal information for the following purposes. The information will not be used for any purposes other than those stated below. If the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be taken.
The app processes only the minimum information necessary to provide the service. Gratitude memos are not stored on or transmitted to developer-operated servers.
Gratitude memos are retained in a local database on the installed device. They are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. On iOS, they may be included in an operating-system backup depending on the user's device settings, but the developer does not maintain a separate server backup.
Weekly and monthly reflections are generated on the device by rule-based logic included in the app. Gratitude memos are not sent to developer-operated servers or external AI services during this process.
The app does not use third-party SDKs for advertising, behavioral analytics, or crash tracking, and does not provide gratitude memos to third parties. The static version file is served through Firebase Hosting.
Users can delete every gratitude memo and reflection letter through the data reset action in app settings. Deleting the app also removes local app data.
