Gratitude Jar values your personal information and complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act. The app is designed with on-device technology as its top priority to ensure that your valuable records are never leaked externally.
The app processes personal information for the following purposes. The information will not be used for any purposes other than those stated below. If the purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be taken.
The app processes only the minimum information necessary to provide the service. Core data is not stored on any server.
All gratitude memo data is retained solely on the user's device for as long as the app is installed. When the user deletes the app, all data stored on the device is immediately destroyed. No server-side backup exists, so recovery is not possible.
The app's core feature — weekly/monthly reflection analysis — is performed by a local LLM built into the user's smartphone, not by an external cloud AI server. Therefore, the contents of your journal are never transmitted externally via the network, even during analysis.
In principle, the app does not provide personal information to third parties or entrust processing to external parties. However, when anonymous statistical tools such as Firebase Crashlytics are used for app stability analysis, non-identifiable information may be processed.
Users may modify or delete their data at any time through the in-app settings. Users may also withdraw consent to the collection and use of personal information by deleting the app.
In accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the app takes the following measures to ensure security:
